Obituary

Addyson Grace Rudd (Addy), age 8, tragically passed away on June 12, 2023 due to complications after a tonsillectomy, surrounded by close family and friends. Addy is preceded in death by her grandfather, Corey Daniels; grandmother, Donna Rudd; great grandmother, Cathie Schoo Cardwell; great grandmother, Jean Locke; and great grandfather, Junior (Joyce) Rudd. Addy is survived by her father, Bill (Emily) Rudd; step-brother, Blake Bradshaw; mother, Deanna (Brian) Caudill; sister, Alayiah Caudill; grandfather, Bill Rudd Sr.; grandmother, Jessice Winborne Daniels; grandparents, William and Rebecca Good; grandparents, Tim and Bethany Baker, great grandmother, Tammy Winborne; great grandfather, Billy Daniels; great grandfather, Randall Winborne; great grandfather, Ray (Barbara) Hall; special uncle, Dylan Daniels; special aunt, Cassi Rudd; best friend, Jamey Nichols; many cousins, aunt, uncles and friends.

Addy was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on December 1, 2014. She loved anything having to do with being in the water, liked four-wheelers, and loved all animals. She was a cheerleader and loved putting on makeup. Open Season was her favorite movie, but YouTube videos came in a close second. She enjoyed playing on her tablet and having girl’s night with her step-mom, Emily. She really disliked broccoli, bugs, and school. She was a roller coaster enthusiast. Her favorite foods were pizza and macaroni and cheese. She also loved ice cream! She loved getting her nails painted and wanted to do nails when she got older. She would often paint her dad’s nails with all the pretty colors. She and her dad shared a “special secret.” She was her daddy’s favorite person in the whole world. He would often whisper that to her. Her mom once asked her to clean her room, to which she answered, “no, thank you.” She had a great sense of humor and could light up any room she walked into. Her laugh was infectious and made everyone around her start laughing. She loved working on Brian’s truck with him. She was obsessed with Morgan Wallen and was sure she would grow up to marry him one day. She dreamed and talked about how she wanted her husband to wear a cowboy hat and wanted to have pink and purple flowers at her wedding.  Addy loved riding in the Corvette! She and Deanna recently took it out to cruise around and got some lunch. She was adored by so many people and will be truly missed.  Although the family is all heartbroken, Addy has left so many good memories in her short eight years.  She truly was loved by so many. Please keep her family and friends in your prayers.
