Audrey Kathleen (Lewis) Myers

Audrey Kathleen Lewis Myers, age 86, of Jackson, GA and formerly of Newport, TN, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Autumn Village Assisted Living in Jackson, GA.

A native of Newport,TN, Audrey was a longtime member of Northport Baptist Church and was employed for many years by Cocke County Board of Education. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Dotsie (Loveday) Lewis; husband, Clarence Myers; son, Eddie Myers; sister, Louise Lewis; brothers, Charles, Bill (Minnie), Jesse Ray (Sarah), and five other siblings who died in childhood. 

Audrey is survived by her son, Jim (Peggy) Myers; grandchildren, James (EJ), Breezy, and great-grandson, Avery; sisters-in-law, Martha Lewis and Frances Myers Cogburn; and many nieces and nephews. 

The family expresses their gratitude to the staff and other residents of Autumn Village Assisted Living Center and to the staff of Sacred Journey Hospice for their love and attention.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
