Barbara Jenkins of Newport passed away February 17, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband Jessie Woody Parents: Anderson and Sylvia Jenkins Grandparents: Ike and Jettie Ramsey Sisters: Glenda Jenkins, Martha Dorsey, Jenni Self, Mary Mcmahan Brothers: Junior Jenkins, Arthur Jenkins, George Jenkins, and Jack Proffitt. She survived by her granddaughter, which was the apple of her eye and window to her soul Elise Marie Reed. Daughter: Tiffany Sister: Melissa Grooms. Brother: Dave Proffitt and sister-in-law Lucy Proffitt. Special niece: Michelle Proffitt. Nephews: Jason Jenkins and Travis Shelton. Special friends: Barbara Webb, Terry Ball, and Kathy Benson. The family will hold a memorial service Saturday March 7, 2020 at 2:00pm at Gethsemane Free Will Baptist Church in Parrottsville, TN
