Bennie "Ben" Allison

Bennie (Ben) Lewis Allison, 71, of Newport passed away peacefully at home in the early hours of Friday, January 31, 2025.  He had battled heart attacks and strokes for years. He is preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Helen Ruth (Fox) Allison; in laws Paul and Louise McCracken. Ben is survived by his wife Carolyn (McCracken) Allison; brothers Larry Allison of Newport, Jim (Ann) Allison of Dandridge, Herb (Tammy) Allison of Indiana; sisters Lana Thomas of Newport, Ruth (David) France of Dandridge; step brother Richard David (Ruth) France of Dandridge; aunts Betty (Allen) Manning of New Market, Brenda Fox of San Antonio, Texas and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 12:00pm at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
