Betty Sue Ramsey

Betty Sue Ramsey, age 74, of Newport, TN., passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022. She was a well-known RN that was dedicated to her patients. Betty is no longer living the life of an Alzheimer’s patient. She is now living in Glory with her Savior, where she has no more pain, sheds no more tears, and will be rejoicing with those who went to heaven before her. She is preceded in death by husband, Walter Ramsey; daughter, Angelia Hope Sisk; sister, Linda Ball; parents, E.J. and Louise Bennett; nephew, Tommy Evans; niece, Brandi Shults; and others who knew the Lord as their Savior.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Jodi Ramsey, and Jacki Renner. Betty always said you didn’t know how much you could love someone until you had grandchildren! She proved that with the love she had for Jordan (Jake) Anderson, Breanne Ramsey, Zachary Sisk, Corey (Amber) Williams, great grandchildren, Abi, Gracie, Hayden, Kenadie, Cagen, Kaselyn, Isaiah, Josiah, Ricki, and Rockie. A special message to her brothers and sisters: Rhonda, you’re my baby sister, but you will always be my baby. Shirley, you are levelheaded and wise, you are a good woman, stay strong! Fredia, you have always been beautiful with a beautiful heart. Jacky, you know I have always been proud of you, you’re my big brother, I brag on you! Johnny, you’re my baby brother and we always treated you that way, but you are a hard-working family man. I love you! I will tell Linda hello from each of you!

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Service will begin at 4:00 pm with Pastor Larry Wells, officiating. Burial to follow.
