“Beloved Dad, brother, uncle and friend”
Billy Lynn Hall, 63, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on June 12, 2024.
Billy was born December 19, 1960, in Newport, TN to Mary Hall and Gene Shropshire. Billy loved mudding, telling stories, trying new restaurants, and spending time with those he loved. Wherever Billy was there was always laughter and a good time. We know he is happy, healthy, and pain-free up in Heaven telling some of his stories surrounded by his loved ones.
Bille was preceded in death by his grandmother Ruby Hall, mother Mary Hall, father Gene Shropshire, and sister Karren Ottinger.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Shirley Stuart and Roger Jones; sister and brother-in-law, Dovie and Dustin Voudren; brother and sister-in-law William Hall and Jamie Beam; sisters Audrey Jinks and Barbara “Spanky” Holt; children, Adam Hall and Tiffany Moore, Billie Hall, Logan and Tiffany Hall, and Lindsey and Mark Brown; his treasured grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friend, Pennye Miller; best friends, Buddy Ball, George Gray, and Jerry Jackson; as well as a host of family and friends.
We also want to thank the amazing team at UT Hospice. Special thank you to his nurses Charles and Amber.
The family will have a visitation on June 15th, 2024, from 11a-1p at Resthaven Chapel Mausoleum in Dandridge, TN, followed by a graveside service at Allen’s Chapel Cemetery in Coby, TN at 2p. There will also be a Celebration of Life on June 23rd, 2024, from 4p-7p at 2461 Stonewall Jackson Drive, Newport, TN 37821. We invite everyone to come out and celebrate his life with us, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company.
