Billy Ray Naillon

Billy Ray Naillon (68) of Newport,  passed away surrounded by family and loved ones on September 19, 2024. He was a proud retired veteran of the US Army and the TN Army National Guard, and a faithful member of Hilltop Baptist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his loving Parents Fred and Iona “Shorty” Naillon; loving in-Laws Daniel and Agnes McGaha; great grandson Silas Henry. 

He leaves behind a beloved wife of 48 years, Mary Naillon. Together they had 3 children, Charles “Jason” Naillon (Ida Ruth Naillon), Jessica Moorefield (Keith Moorefield), Carrie Jenkins (Jerry Lee Jenkins); grandchildren Ella Rhee Henry (Dakota Henry), Morgan Cate (Zachary Cate), Zachery Shelton, Logan Jackson, Michaela Jackson, Madison Jackson, Jada Naillon, Warren Jenkins, Waylon Jenkins, and Emma Jenkins; great grandchildren Anthony Henry, Renner Henry, and soon to arrive Rhett Henry; 9 loving brothers and sisters and their families, as well as extended family and loved ones. 

He lived a life serving the Lord and is now rejoicing with HIM eternally.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday September 24, 2024 at Hilltop Baptist Church of Newport, Tn. Visitation from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. funeral at 7 p.m. with Pastor Ben Watts officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens "Garden Of Valor" on Wednesday September 25th at 11;00 a.m. with military honors.
