Brenda Ann Green

On October 30, 2024, Brenda Ann Green, 76, of Newport, Tn. passed into eternal life surrounded by her loving family. Her unwavering faith and resilience inspired those around her. She cherished her family, cooking, gardening, and watching her great grandchildren flourish. She was a devoted member of Brookfield Church of God of the Union Assembly.

Pre deceased by her parents Elmer and Frankie Green; brother Elmer “Dupe” Green and daughter-in-law Krystina Lawson Gilbert.

Survived by her children Rhonda (Joey) Allen, Roger Gilbert, Sonya (Mitchell) Webb, and Brian Gilbert; grandchildren Kayce (Joshua) Sweeten, Abbie (Tony) Romines, Nathan (Kelsey) Webb, Emily Webb, and A. J. (Cybyl) Fine; great-grandchildren Lakelyn, Haddley, and Josiah Sweeten, Creedence, Daegyn, and Tori Romines, and Presley Fine; sister Dean (Raymond) Southerland; Special friend of many years Delmar Fine and a host of other family and friends.

Brenda’s memory will be celebrated at a graveside service at 11:00am on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Gregg Vassar officiating.  The family extends heartfelt thanks to UT Cancer Specialists, Amedisys Hospice, and all who provided support and prayers.
