Cathy Jean Clevenger

Cathy Clevenger, 70, of Newport, Tennessee, went home to be with The Lord and reunited with her husband, Larry Clevenger, on Thursday, April 20, 2023. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her Parents, Charles and Ruby Martin; Siblings, Charles "Calvin" Martin and Judy Martin Bowers; and  Great-granddaughter, Sophie Reid. 

She is survived by daughters, Amy Clevenger Raper (Justin) and Christy Phillips Loyd (Tim); 

Grandchildren: Addie Reid, Daniel Phillips, Stephen Phillips, Jonah Loyd, and Charley Raper; and

Great-grandchildren: Luna Reid, Aurora Reid, and David Phillips

She was known for her kindness to others, humor, and love for her grandchildren. She will be remembered for the joy she brought to others, her love for the Lord, and the love she had with her family.

The family will receive friends Monday  from 4 to 6 at Resthaven Mausoleum Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 6 PM with Bro. Scott Gorrell officiating.
