Charles Delaney Obituary

Charles E. Delaney (Ed) went to be with the Lord December 31 after a shocking but short battle with Cancer. He served in the U.S. Air Force where he was an aircraft mechanic. His passion was fishing and deer hunting and spending time with his family outdoors. He loved to joke and cut up with everyone he met. He didn’t know a stranger.

He is survived by his wife Becky, daughter Abigail, his spoiled dog Cooper, the doodle of the house Marleigh Mae and his sister Linda Thompson, brother-in-law Mike Thompson, nieces Tera, Lisa, and Kayla. He is preceded in death by his father Joseph Delaney.

A special heartfelt thanks to Doug & Betty Reedy, Dollywood, where Ed worked, especially the rides and maintenance crews, Smokey Mountain Hospice for being here so quick and being so kind and gentle with him, University of Tennessee Oncology and everyone who has been there for us along the way.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life at a later date.
