Charles Northern age 91, of Newport passed away peacefully at home on Sunday March 10, 2024. Charles was preceded in death by his parents Nell and Bill Northern; sisters Wanda Northern, Shirley Grooms, Carolyn Northern, Margaret Gaines, Katherine Perryman; Brother Bobby Northern; Daughters Marilyn Hayes and Regina Cameron; He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years lna Jean Northern; Son David Northern; Daughter Judy (Jeff Sutton); son - in - law Tim Cameron; Grandchildren Missy (Steve Thomas) Mickey (Crissy Gilliam), Amber Hayes; Great Grandchildren Brittany Teague, Erica Thomas, Madison and Bo Gilliam; Great-Great Grandchildren Kayla Hayes, Braiden Teague, Abby Teague, Eli Teague. Services will be held Wednesday March 13, 2024 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Visitation from 1:00 - 2:00 PM funeral service starting at 2:00 PM with Preachers Franklin Wine and Gary Gregg officiating, burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
