Charles "Bones" Lee Rathbone Jr.

Charles Lee Rathbone Jr (Bones), 48, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 21st in a tragic car accident. He was born in Waynesville, NC. Bones loved his family and friends. He spent most of the time working whether that be trucking or farming. When he had time he enjoyed fishing, spending time with family, or piddling around.

He's preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank & Mary Ruth Nelson and Beauford & Alice Rue Rathbone

He's survived by his father, Charles Rathbone (Mindy) of Waynesville; his mother, Delores Rathbone of Waynesville; his daughter, Savannah Rathbone (Daylon) of Parrottsville; his sister Natalie Tate of Waynesville; his niece, KayeLee Tate of Waynesville; and many uncles, aunts, cousins and very special friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 25th, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum.
