DONALD MAX BARBER

Donald Max Barber, Jr, 72, of Cosby, TN went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Donald proudly served our country as a member of the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam war. He retired from Roadway Express and enjoyed fishing, volunteering in his church food pantry and spending time with his family and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Mabel Barber; his wife, Becky Barber; two brother-in-laws, Ed Smith and Jack Earnheart and close friend, Marie Thomas. He is survived by his children Kristin Stewart (Marshall) of Powell, TN;  Andrew Barber, Sr (April) of Cosby, TN; grandchildren, Andrew, Jr. and Aaron Barber. He is also survived by his sister,  Doris Smith of Swartz Creek, MI, sister-in-law Joann Earnheart of Hernando, MS and three nephews. There will be a private graveside service with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the Swannsylvania Baptist Church Food Pantry Ministry - 921 Swannsylvania Road Dandridge, TN 37725.
