It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Douglas Todd Burnett, 53, formerly of Morristown, Tennessee. He passed away Friday, February 21, 2020, at Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, Florida, from complications of surgery.Todd was born on May 7th 1966, to Douglas and Estelle Burnett in Morristown, Tennessee.
Todd was a member of Manley Baptist Church; he loved the LORD and life. Todd was a loving husband, father, son, and friend. He was well known as a master craftsman in body mechanics and had a love for automotive restoration. He had a passion for flying aircraft and was a manager at Leading Edge Air Logistics.
Todd is preceded in death by his infant son, Aaron Burnett, maternal grandparents King and Anna Mae Riner, and Kermit Enjix, paternal grandparents Pangle and Eula Burnett.
Todd is survived by his loving wife Sharon (Pemberton) Burnett of Bradenton, Florida; daughter Olivia Burnett (Christopher Brinley) of Bradenton, Florida; step daughter Krista Williams (Eric) of Kodak, Tennessee; parents Douglas and Estelle Burnett of Morristown, Tennessee; sister Tracy Westerfield Mitchell (Shane) of Jacksonville, Florida; sister-in-law Leslie Ward (Tim) of Vero Beach, Florida; mother- and father-in-law James and Beverly Pemberton of Bradenton, Florida; grandchildren Emery and Eden Williams; nephews Grant and Greyson Westerfield; special friends Troy Pharris and Mike Long; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Recieving of family and friends will be held Friday Evening February 28, 2020 from 6pm to 8pm with a Celebration Of Life to follow.
