David Hess Obituary

David Paul Hess, age 80, of Dandridge, TN. passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022. He was an active member of the Dandridge Senior Center, and of the Brazleton Masonic Lodge in Dandridge. David was a proud Vietnam veteran, serving in the Navy. David loved life and was a very selfless person, he was known as a very kind soul with a very large heart, that loved nature.

David is preceded in death by son, Timothy Butler. He is survived by wife of 52 years, Donnalee Hess; children, David and Jessica Hess, Jenniferlyn and Scott Sharp, Kim Butler, Christopher Guggemos Sr.; grandchildren, Christopher Guggemos (Chancey), Jared Hess (Delany), Krystalrose Pierce (Shawn), Calisha Sharp, Angelica Hess; 8 great grandchildren; 3 sisters; 1 brother.

Family and friends will meet Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Resthaven Memorial Gardens for a 2:00 pm service. Military honors to follow inurnment.
