David Randall Pyatte, Sr., of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022, after years of declining health. He passed away from pneumonia. David was a Southern Baptist minister for 41 years, in NC, SC, and TN. He was a huge TN Vols fan, and loved Corvettes, Shelties, and helping people above all else. David loved his family and God, and was a beloved Pastor, husband, father, and papaw. David is survived by wife of 45 years, Cathy Pyatte; sons, David Randall Pyatte Jr., Joshua Dale Pyatte; daughter, Amanda D. Fields; 11 grandchildren; parents, Lonnie and Barbara Pyatte, of Bristol, VA; brothers, Mike and Scott Pyatte. The family wishes to thank the ICU nurses at Jefferson City Memorial Hospital. A special thank you to Senior Citizens Home Assistance Jefferson County Office, Amy Coldwell, and special caregiver, Terri James.
