Donald Valentine

Donald Valentine, age 91 of Dandridge, TN. passed away, Monday, November 13, 2023 at his home. He is remembered for his love of the outdoors and would spend much of his time tinkering and fishing rather than being found indoors. He was a veteran of the Unites States Army. His stint in Japan led to his lifelong aversion to fish. He was married to his loving wife, Eula Mae for 65 memorable years.

Donald is preceded in death by his father, Mitchell Valentine; mother, Vera (Williamson) Hinson; step-father, Robert Hinson; brothers, Carl and Sonny Valentine, Steve Hinson, and Jerry Hinson; and sisters, Grace Valentine Harrison, Betty Worley-Hinson, Linda Sue Kuhn and Lois Hinson.

Donald is survived by his wife, Eula Mae Valentine; son, Donnie P. (Paula) Valentine; brother, Virgil Hinson; grandson, Kyle (Anna) Valentine; grandchildren, Maison and Zoey Valentine; and special friends, Mary and Willard Taylor, Randy Rimer, Randy, Phyllis and Karie Compton and Bobby and Gail Clevenger.

A special thanks to the caring staff of Amedysis Hospice for their support of Donald in his hardest days.

The family will receive friends at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm. A graveside service with Military will be held afterwards with burial immediately following at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
