Dorothy (Reynolds) Nelms

Dorothy Nelms passed away November 3, 2023, at her home in Morristown, TN.

Mrs. Nelms was born in Whiteville, N.C. on September 26, 1931, and moved to Florida in 1941. She attended Hillsborough County schools and resided in the Tampa Bay area until 2007. She was a member of Temple Heights Baptist Church in Tampa.

Mrs. Nelms' husband, Vernon (Cotton) Nelms was a well-known pastor in the Tampa Bay area for many years and passed away in 2003. 

Mrs. Nelms moved to Morristown, TN in 2007. She attended Morristown Baptist Tabernacle.

Mrs. Nelms is survived by her loving and caring son, Robert Nelms; daughter-in-law, Kelly Nelms (wife of Jerry Nelms who passed away in December 2022). She has one grandson, Joshua and his sweet wife, Ruby; as well as many precious nieces and nephews and many cherished and kind friends.

A graveside service will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 11:00am.
