Obituary
Douglas Leon Dixon, age 67 of Knoxville, TN, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 2, 2023. Doug was at home with his family who loved him and he loved in return. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Doug was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Cole Dixon; his father, Leon Charles Dixon; and his grandparents, Coy and Edith Harrell and Josephine Dixon. He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Marie Dixon; son, Michael Dixon; sisters, Debbie K. (David) Sexton, Teresa L. Dixon, Rebecca Jean Dixon; brothers, Charles Scott (Tina) Dixon, Rusty Leon Dixon; uncle, Randal (Evelyn) Harrell; aunt, Ann (J.L.) Price; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the Hospice caregivers, especially Beth and Cynthia.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Humane Society or Hospice.
Arrangements will be announced at a later date.
