Douglas Michael Gordon

Doug was many things: a musician, a nature lover and a chef, among other things. Often his friends would rave about his culinary skills. Throughout the years, he loved playing beautiful music on his guitars, bringing wonderful melodies and joy to others. Another of his favorite things to do was to go on hikes and explore what nature has to offer. He was a good father and friend, and he cared very deeply for his family.

He is survived by his sister, Christine Hooten; two daughters, Shantee Williams and Anastazia Gordon; two sons, Gregory McAfee and William McAfee; his daughter-in-law, Justina McAfee; along with his three grandsons, Kasey Williams, Hunter Williams and Wesley McAfee.

Having spent most of his years as a Florida resident, he chose to come north along with his late wife, Joni Brezenoff, and finally landed in Cosby/Newport, TN, where he took his final breaths at Newport Medical Center. Rest easy, Doug. You are loved and missed greatly.
