Edna Long

Edna Long went on to Glory on February 26, 2026, after a brief stay at UT Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Maudella Russell; father, Steven Russell; brothers, Ronald and Donald Russell; half-brothers, Eugene and Hue Russell; and her beloved husband, Earl Long.

She is survived by her son, Dwayne Bailey and daughter-in-law, Ashley Bailey, and their children Jacob, Jerimiah, and Rebekah Bailey; her son, Delvin Bailey and daughter-in-law, Jessica Bailey, and their children Delvin, Gunner, Lincoln, and Julia Bailey; as well as many cousins and extended family members.

Edna will be lovingly remembered for her devotion to her family and the love she shared with those around her. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort knowing she is now at peace and reunited with those who went before her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
