Elizabeth Ann Smelcer

Elizabeth “Lib or Libby” Ann Smelcer, (57) of Parrottsville, Tn. passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023.  Lib was known to keep a very clean home. She in fact enjoyed cleaning all the time.   She was the happiest when spending time with her grandchildren.  If she had any leftover money, she enjoyed yard sales and rummaging for a good deal.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Rick and Loyetta Ledford; brother, EC Ledford; sisters, Glenda Green, and Betty Jo Pack; brothers-in-laws, Lawrence (husband to Glenda) Green and Carl Ottinger; mother-in-law, Anna ; niece, Jessica Sapp.  Elizabeth is survived by her husband of forty years Chris Smelcer; sons, Samuel Smelcer and Josh (Ashley) Smelcer; grandkids, Blake and Joseph Smelcer, Regan (Devon) Parton; nephews, Josh Hill, Justin Green, Dustin Kerr, Terry Pack, Randy Samples, and Jonathan Hill; nieces, Jennifer Yates, Marsh Williams, Ashley Kerr, Pearl Lindsey, Leana Pack, Betty Jean Woods and Kriston Ramsey; sister, Marie Ottinger; sister-in-law, Penny (Chris) Ramsey; brother-in-law, Cauley Smelcer; father-in-law, Claude Smelcer; several special nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will plan for a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
