Ernest Thomas Atkins Jr., passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024. He was born to Ernest Thomas Atkins Sr. and Nannie Mae Russell. Ernest was a four year Navy Veteran. He loved camping, nature and the beach. He loved tinkering with things to fix them. He loved spending time with his daughter.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Sandra Atkins; Father, Ernest; Mother, Nannie; Brother, Robert Atkins; Sister Chandra Hollifield and Stepfather, Richard Hollifield. He is survived by his daughter Melody Atkins, Sister and Brother-in-law Hazel and Doug Hendricks; Nieces, Amanda (Alex) Toby; Jessica Long; Hannah Long; great nieces and nephews and Special Family Daniel and Margaret Fink.
