Everette Dale Ottinger

Everette Dale Ottinger passed away peacefully at home on Oct. 13, 2025, at the age of 80. He worked at Newport Utilities for many years. He attended Long Creek Christian Church where he was an Elder of the church.

Dale was preceded in death by his daughter Tracy, his parents L.G. and Mabel, his brothers L.G. Jr (Frankie) and Sherrel Ottinger.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Anna “Bindy” Ottinger, his daughter Denise (Roy) Goolsby, and his granddaughter Kayla Goolsby. Dale is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice for all the wonderful care and kindness shown to Dale. And a very special thank you to Jeff Grigsby, Heather Arnold and Charlie Grooms.

The family will have a graveside service at Resthaven Memorial Gardens on October 16th, 2025, at 2:00pm.
