Frankie Large

Frankie Yvonne Large entered her heavenly home on February 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Finally reunited with her beloved daughter Kimberly Suzette Pruitt, she is also preceded in death by her parents Thomas Eli and Stella Ball, sister Gerri Henderson, and brothers Rooney, Hister, Shorty, Tommy, Larry, and Roger Ball.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 67 years Ira “Buddy” Large, son Trent Large, daughter Shelly Blazer (Deanna), brothers Terry and Jewel Ball, sisters Polly Trent (Bert) and Cricket Laymon, granddaughters Ramie Pruitt (Haley), Rhealynn Pruitt (Haley), Reiley Osborne (Tanner), grandsons Mason Blazer, Eli Blazer (Sarah), Brock Blazer (Brynn), and ten adored great grandchildren.

Frankie’s greatest love in life was her family. She tirelessly supported her grands and great grands in every endeavor. When not spending time with her cherished family, Frankie could be found in her kitchen cooking for those she loved or baking her famous stack cakes for her cherished church family and others. She quietly supported numerous charities and was a tireless prayer warrior for those in need.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday February 26, 2026 at West End Baptist Church from 5-7 pm. with funeral service at 7 pm Graveside service will be held Friday February 27, 2026 at 11am at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family asks for attendees to please bring a single rose for placement at the conclusion of the services in observation of Frankie’s requested song “Just a Rose Will Do.”
