Georgia Hall, a beloved mother, grandmother, friend, and faithful servant of the Lord, passed away at age 82 surrounded by the love of her family and friends and the promise of eternal life on April 10th, 2026 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Georgia was a resident of Dandridge, Tennessee.
Born in Parrottsville, Tennessee, Georgia was a woman of deep roots, strong faith, and a generous heart. She graduated from Parrottsville High School in 1961 and carried with her a lifelong commitment to hard work, kindness, and service to others.
Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hall; her parents, Clyde and Edith Rader; her brothers, Tex Rader, Tony Rader, and Ricky Rader; her sisters, RoseMary Bryant and Sandy Sauceman; her niece, Brandi Livingston; and her nephew, Andy Rader.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Donna Hall Jones, and her cherished granddaughter who brought her so much joy, Brooke Jones; her granddog, Mollie; her sisters, Judy (Danny) West and Debbie (Kenny) Sane; her sister-in-law, Mildred Rader; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins who will continue to carry her memory in their hearts.
Georgia dedicated many years to her career and retired from BASF, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. After retiring, she embraced new opportunities and explored entrepreneurial ventures. She also furthered her education at Tennessee College of Applied Technology, reflecting her belief in lifelong learning.
A woman of deep and abiding faith, Georgia was a devoted member of Swannsylvania Baptist Church, where she was active in the church as well as the Women's Missionary Union. She found great purpose in serving others and was a faithful volunteer at her church's food pantry, lovingly helping those less fortunate in her community. Her life was a reflection of Christ's love through service, compassion, and humility.
Georgia found happiness in spending time with friends and family, enjoying luncheons, sharing laughter, fellowship, and simple moments that meant the most. She also had a passion for shopping for jewelry, especially on HSN. She had a warm spirit, a caring heart, and a quiet strength that touched all who knew her.
Today, we do not grieve as those who have no hope. We grieve as those who love her deeply but know, with full confidence, that Georgia has finished her earthly life well. She has heard the words her life was spent earning:
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:23
She is home in the presence of her Lord and Savior. But it’s not goodbye, Mimi — it’s until we see you again.
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.”
– 1 Corinthians 13:13
Georgia will be remembered on Friday, April 17th at Resthaven Memorial Gardens located at 2642 US-25W #70, Dandridge, TN 37725. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the Celebration of Life service at 1:00 pm. The Officiant will be Senior Pastor, Andy Henard of Swannsylvania Baptist Church.
