Glenda Bewley

Glenda Bewley,  68 of Newport, Tn. passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at her home with her family by her side. Glenda was of Baptist Faith, she worked at Wood Products for 25 years and CF Group (Falcon) for 20 years until her retirement. She loved her family and was very proud to be a mother, grandmother and great – grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents James and Bervene Ellison; brothers Swan, Jimmy, Buddy (C. J.) Ellison; sister Opal Gregg; Father and Mother-In-Law George and Dorothy Bewley; Special Niece Megan Maxwell. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years Jeff Bewley; daughter Ginger Mantooth (Chuck); granddaughter Caitlynn Rice, Haley Rice, Cameron Rice; great- grandchildren Caselyn, Baylee, Aspen, Noah, Hudson, Elijah, and Marlee; sisters Kathleen Raper (Chris), Jean Batson (Gary), Lula Ozmun (Ralph), Brenda Heatherly; brother Dan Ellison (Linda); sister-in-law Judy O’Neil; nieces Lisa Brady (Michael), Stephanie Maxwell; great niece Aria Maxwell; special friends Charlotte Fox, Judy Dawson.

A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday September 12, 2024 at 11AM at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with burial to follow.
