Harold "Lynn" Bell, 63, of Knoxville, passed away March 3, 2026. A devoted husband, father, grandfather and longtime truck driver for Diamond Hill Plywood Company, Lynn was known for his boundless energy, warm smile, infectious laugh, and deep pride in his Scottish heritage.
Lynn loved the outdoors — mowing, planting trees, bushes, and flowers — and was happiest tinkering on projects, riding motorcycles, attending concerts and line dancing. A faithful member of his church, he loved Jesus, served enthusiastically, and sang in the choir. For many years he delighted children and families playing Santa Claus on the Three Rivers Rambler train. He also had a soft spot for his cats, whom he treated like family.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Bell; son Cody (Alida) and their child, Ryder; stepdaughter Heather Godwin (JC Godwin); stepson Christopher Henry (Krystal Whaley); sisters Linda McGill and Cathy Poore; many cherished grandchildren; and a wide circle of friends and extended family, including a special cousin, Pam King Reyes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold V. Bell, and Elizabeth E. Bell; sister Jewel Bell Rose; and brother Gerald (Jerry) Bell.
In accordance with his wishes, no public services are planned. Lynn spent his final weeks surrounded by loved ones, sharing stories and laughter. He will be remembered for his joyful spirit, his stubborn streak, and the love he shared with his family.
