Jack "Jackie" Orstead Jr. Obituary

Jack “Jackie” Orstead, Jr., 60, of Dandridge, Tennessee, was called to his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 6th, 2023. Jack was the first-born son on July 28th, 1962 in Aurora, Illinois to Jack Sr. and Marlene Orstead. As a farmer’s son, Jack enjoyed an all-American childhood along with his many siblings. He also enjoyed playing baseball as a child. Jack worked with heavy machinery with Earthmovers as a trade.

He his preceded in death by his father and namesake, Jack Sr. He will also be reunited with his longtime girlfriend, Garnet Weldon.

Surviving siblings include: Holly (Robert) Watermann and Tammy Ostead of Illinois, Heidi (Cory) Self and Scott Orstead of Dandridge, TN, and Shelley (Tony) Parker of Florida. As well as many nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of life for Jack will be held at a later date.
