As some may know, our family experienced an unimaginable loss when we lost a dear and deeply loved member of our family on December 20th, 2025. The days since have been heavy, confusing, and full of emotions we’re still learning how to carry. As we continue to wait on answers ourselves, we kindly ask for patience, understanding, and the space to grieve in peace during this incredibly difficult time.
Jacob Scott Hicks was so much more than a name — he was laughter, kindness, memories, and love that will never fade. His presence left a mark on all of us who knew him, and his absence is felt every single day. While our hearts are still broken, we believe the best way to honor Jake is to come together, surround one another with love, and celebrate the beautiful life he lived.
In honor of Jake’s life, and to celebrate his birthday, we invite family, friends, and all who loved him to join us for a Celebration of Life on February 17th at 4:00 PM. This gathering is not just a goodbye, but a moment to remember his smile, share stories, hold space for tears, and reflect on the joy he brought into our lives.
Please come as you are. Bring your memories, your love, and your heart. Whether you knew Jake for a lifetime or just a moment, your presence means more than words can express. Together, we will remember him, honor him, and keep his spirit alive in the way he deserves — surrounded by love.
Thank you to everyone who has continued to support our family during this time. We are forever grateful.
