James (Tony) Valentine

James Tony Valentine, passed away at home Tuesday, September 16, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his wife of 21 years Sonja Mullins Valentine, his children; son Jim (Shanna) Valentine; daughter Vanessa (Joe Burgin),  TJ Valentine and James, Tim (Nikki) Mullins, Judd (Brittany) Summers, Samantha Mullins (John), James (Tiffany) Summers; grandson Brayden Mullins; sisters Doris Holt,  Janet Sams, Connie (Roger) Henderson; brothers Danny (Karen), James, Jerry ( Michelle) Valentine; twenty-one grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his mother and father Wilma and Pedro Valentine; niece Angela Valentine, and numerous aunts and uncles.  The family would like to say thank you to Amedisys Home Health and to Chaplain John Fultz. Thank you to all family and friends for the love and support as well.   Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum. Funeral Service will start at 2:00 with burial to follow at Big Hill Cemetery in Del Rio.
