James A Wise

James “Jack” A. Wise, age 71, of Newport, TN., passed away Monday, September 5, 2022. James proudly served our country, serving during the Vietnam war, and was stationed in Korea. He retired from the National Guard as a Sergeant First Class. James is preceded in death by wife of 34 years, Sandra Fillers Wise; parents, F.L and Lois Wise; brother, Gary Wise. James is survived by sons, James A. Wise Jr., Heath Wise; stepdaughters, Melody Mason (Sid), Crystal Hubbard (Greg); brother, Don Wise (Cindy); sister, Charlotte Wise-Chambers (Robert), Sharon Wise-Rines; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; multiple nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday, September 9, 2022, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Chapel, service with Military honors to follow with entombment. Pastor Chad Chambers officiating.
