James “Carolina” Franklin Hattaway passed away on Friday July 9, 2021. He was preceded in death by his sister Kristin Mayer. He is survived by his grandmother Patricia Warwick (Allen) of Oneida, TN, grandfather George Warwick of Sanford, NC, mother Angela Nunnery of Newport, TN, father Joseph Bennett of Firestone, CO, brothers and sisters Amanda Hattaway of Springlake, NC, Michael Hadley of Newport, TN, Ashley Harper of Del Rio, TN, Jaxon Bennet and Justin Corey of Firestone, CO, 6 nieces, 3 nephews and girlfriend Jaime Murphy of Maryville, TN. Visitation will be held Friday July 16, 2021 5PM - 7PM with funeral to follow in the mausoleum chapel at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
