 In the early morning of April 30, Jessica, (83), went home to th Lord after a long battle with cancer. She was a retired nurse wh loved to play pool. She was an avid animal lover who loved her Sottie Terriers. Jessica and her husband just celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. She is preceded in death by her mother, Virginia and her father, William. She is survived in death by her husband, Ray Treece, her son, William“Bill” Proffitt and his wife, Theresa Proffitt, her granddaughter Rachel “Kelly” Garst and her husband, William “Alan” Garst, her great-grandchildren, Gabriel Proffitt and Samara Schrimpsher, and her grandson, Jake Hawthorne and his wife, Paige Hawthorne, her sister, Martha Evans, her niece, Tracy Evans and her brother Charles Beatty, along with numerous friends and family.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation in Jessica's name be made to the American Cancer Society.
