Obituary
Joseph “Joe” Wayne Parton, age 38, of Del Rio, TN went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 19, 2022. Everyone that knew Joe knew that he was a great person, always there to help you in anyway. He had an amazing personality that would win you over. He loved his family and friends and could always be counted on to help and make you laugh. He was a fixer. Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Joyce Stokely Parton; grandparents, Mary and Bart Parton, Alberta and Thomas King Stokely. He is survived by his father, Junior Parton; sister, Jeanie Lynn Parton Simpson; daughter McKinzie Parton; son Evan Parton; nephews, Paul Simpson, Waylon Cash Parton, McKinzie’s mother, Lyndsey Smith. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Stokely Cemetery (off Black Branch Road in Del Rio) for an 11:00 am burial. Following the burial, a Celebration of Life hosted by the family will be held at the Del Rio fire department, to honor Joe on his birthday. The family wishes to thank everyone for all the calls, texts, and food, and ask that they be kept in your prayers. Rest well, Bubba. Tell momma we said hello.
