Joshua Tyler Hatfield

Joshua Tyler Hatfield, age 28, of Alabama, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 11, 2022. Our family is shocked and devastated by this loss. Joshua was born August 15, 1994 in Indiana to Sheila Shockley and Clyde Hatfield. Joshua worked many jobs, enjoying the variety of life in the thrill of learning. Joshua may have struggled but he lived life to the fullest enjoying his many close friends and family, music, helping others, nature, and God. Joshua made us laugh, cry, and clap our hands. Joshua was excited about his recent move to Tennessee to spend many heartfelt hours with his grandpa Shockley. Joshua is preceded in death by his grandpa, Vernon Hudkins; uncles, Kevin and David Shockley; cousin, Hayden Shockley. He is survived by his parents, Sheila Shockley and Clyde Hatfield; grandparents, Gary Shockley, Dolores Hudkins, and Jackie Paul; sisters, Stephanie and Kelli Graves, Isabella Hatfield; nephews, Austin & Ally; niece, Scarlett; many close aunts, uncles, cousins and Friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Resthaven Funeral Home is honored to serve Joshua's family.
