Kathy Pritt Hays

Kathy Pritt Hays, age 66, of Maryville, TN., passed away Friday, July 22, 2022. A native of Niceville, FL., where she was a cheerleader for Niceville High School Eagles and was the first water girl for the football team. Kathy loved spicy food, cooking gourmet meals, gardening, growing herbs. She was also a huge University of Alabama fan. Kathy met Duane, the love of her life, in Alabama before getting married and moving to the mountains of east Tennessee for retirement. She was beautiful and smart, a loving wife and mother. Kathy is preceded in death by husband, Roy “Duane” Hays; father, Donald C. Pritt. She is survived by sons, Roy “Nathan” Hays, Aaron Joseph Hays and daughter in laws Keeley and Kara Hays; mother, Emily Pritt Kuehlthau; brothers, Don Pritt and wife Dawn, Leslie Pritt, John Kuehlthau. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for friends and family. Resthaven Funeral Home is honored to serve the Hays family.
