Keaston Xavier Jackson, age 20 of Newport, TN, gained his wings on Thursday, March 2, 2023 due to injuries sustained in an ATV accident which occured while he was enjoying his love for nature and exploring. Keaston was born September 3, 2002 in Morristown, TN. He graduated from Cocke County High School in 2021 where he was an avid athlete; he was a member of the football team, basketball team and baseball team. Since graduating high school, Keaston traveled and lived in Destin, FL. There, he fulfilled his dream of driving up and down the Gulf Coast in Porsches all day while working for Porsche of Destin, FL. Later, he moved to St. Louis, MO and fulfilled another dream of his, playing semi-pro football for the Missouri Falcons.
Keaston made many close connections and friends everywhere he traveled and lived. Keaston was always known for how big his heart was, the unbreakable bond with his brother, Jayston and sister, Kennadie and his obsession with his cat, Cora. He was always an explorer and traveler, enjoying life and new experiences.
Keaston is preceded in death by his uncle, Jimmy Jackson and his "tia", Sherry Grider. Keaston is survived by his mother, Angela Jackson; his father, Boz Meyers; his brother, Jayston Fine; his sister, Kennadie Meyers; his grandparents, Mary Jackson, Freddie Jackson, Linda Dilley and David Dilley; his aunts, Danna Williams, Melissa Jackson, and Jazi Meyers; his uncles, Jason Williams, Joey Meyers and Keith France; and several nieces and nephews. Keaston leaves behind many friends who were like brothers to him and whom he loved with his huge heart. Keaston had a great love for his family.
Keaston's family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the Resthaven Mausoleum Chapel. A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2023 beginning at 11 a.m. in Resthaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Resthaven Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
