Kenneth Randall Bowman

Kenneth Randall Bowman was many things. He was a mechanic, a landscaper, a chef,a mover, a coach. No matter what, if someone needed help with something, he was

there-- no questions asked. During the job he wouldn’t complain, and the work would get done. The car would start, the trees would be shapely, the dinner would be

delicious, the furniture would be where it needed to go, and you’d feel motivated knowing he was looking out for you. When all was said and done, you’d wonder how

you could have ever done it without him. A quiet man, Randy could often be seen at the edge of the room in a chair or on the couch, watching on-- though never too far away to interject with a

well-timed joke or a story from one of the many interesting lives he had lived. “Now that reminds me of the time . . .” he’d start, and without announcement or fanfare, the room would suddenly

become enraptured by a tale so bewildering, so wild, and so human, that you’d wonder how long it would be before Hollywood Film Directors would be send their agents

begging for film rights. The center of the room would shift, and Randy would no longer be at the perimeter: he would be at center stage.

Randy is preceded by his parents, Kenneth Bowman, and Eliza (Jane) Bowman; his sister, Darlene Bowman; and his life Partner, Pamela Bowman. Randy is survived by his children, Seth

Bowman, Myles Bowman, and Sumer Lynch; and his sister, Fannie Masingale. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Riley Troutt, Sophia (Phia) Piggush, Reece Piggush, and Leah Timms; his

nieces and nephews, Carl Masingale, Alecia Masingale, and Melissa Cureton; and many others who held him near and dear to their hearts. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025

from 1:00pm - 2:30pm at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum.  Funeral Service with Military honors will begin at 2:30pm with Pastor Joe Cureton officiating. 

Burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will include his sons, Myles and Seth Bowman; grandson, Reece Piggish; nephews, Carl Masingale, Isaiah Cureton, Landon Cureton and Ayden Cureton; and longtime friend, Timothy Cureton.
