Larry Dean Rinehart

Larry Dean Rinehart, age 74, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 21, 2022, at the Newport Medical Center after a lingering illness. Larry was a TSSAA Official for almost 40 years and loved being on the field or court with the kids and his fellow officials. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles B. Rinehart; mother, Maxine Ellis Rinehart; grandparents, Charles and Callie Rinehart and Lee and Chloe Ellis. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Ilene Massey Rinehart of Dandridge; son, Brian Rinehart of Morristown; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Jenniffer Rinehart of Dandridge; granddaughter, Sydney Rinehart of Dandridge; grandsons, Ayden Rinehart of Newport and Tucker Smelser of Blythewood, SC; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ron and Shelia Massey of Newnan, GA. and uncle Claude Rinehart of Murfreesboro, Tn. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday, November 25, 2022. The funeral will begin at 2:00 PM at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum with Pastor Mike Hensley officiating, with burial to follow.
