Larry Junior Stephenson, (71) passed away at the VA Medical Center Johnson City, Tn. October 27, 2020. He was a faithful member of the Edgemont Church of God. Larry loved his church and church family. He was a God fearing man that loved the Lord and everyone he met. He is a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked at Cocke County Baptist Hospital for 24 years. He is preceded in death by his mother Gladys Hembree; Stepfather ; John Hembree. Mother and Father-in-law Tab and Bruce Evans. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Patricia Evans Stephenson. Daughters; Tabitha (Chad) Norton and Cortnee Ballard. Grandchildren; Dylan Norton, Alec Norton, and Adam Ballard. Brothers; Wayne Stephenson, Claude (Karen) Hembree, Atlas (Cara)Hembree, and Jim Hembree. Several in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Special (sidekick) friends; Tommy and Brenda Strange and Faye Large. A special Thank you to the staff of the VA Medical Cente of Johnson City. They were so amazing to Larry and myself. Due to the Covid outbreak there are no services planned.
