Leslie (Buddy) Hensley

Leslie “Buddy” Hensley, of Newport, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

Buddy was a loving man who never met a stranger and cared deeply for everyone he knew. He enjoyed watching and attending races, cheering on Tennessee basketball and football, and spending time with his many friends. Buddy also proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Donna Hall; and his brother, Jesse “Kuddy” Hensley.

He leaves behind his sister, Bobbie Gray; his loving friend, Jackie Dean Mathis; his nephew, Mike Finchum; his niece, Lisa Swann; and a host of other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
