Linda Anne Greene

Linda Anne Greene of Morristown, TN passed away peacefully on June 16, 2023.  Linda was born in Morristown on February 12, 1952, to Rector and Nancy Greene, and was the youngest of five children.  She attended Morristown East and spent much of her life living in Morristown.  She also lived 10 years in Dallas, Georgia.

            Linda was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.   She enjoyed shopping, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh, especially with her four boys.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends in Tennessee and Georgia. 

            Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Rector and Nancy Greene, her sister, Barbara Greene, her brother, Bill Greene, and her two sons, Stacey Cope and Jamey Greene. 

            She is survived by her sons, Chris (Sharon) Cope and Jason (Sarah) Napier; her grandchildren, Whitney (Cope) Gilbert, Spencer Cope, Joshua Napier, Wesley Greene, and Emily Greene; her sister Ruth Greene and brother Carl Greene, and five great grandchildren.  She is also survived by several special nieces and nephews. 

            Linda’s ashes will be buried beside her loving parents at Emma Jarnagin Cemetery in Morristown, TN at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memories be shared at www.resthavenmemorialgardens.com.
