Linda Ann (Lackner) Lanphear

Linda Ann Lanphear, 76, of White Pine, TN, passed away on March 29, 2026. Linda was born on October 24, 1949, in Ithaca, NY. She is known for being a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Linda loved her children and was always there when needed. She was also a big animal lover. Family and friends can recall her rescuing possums and raccoons. Linda also enjoyed sewing blankets for her grand babies and great-grand babies. She would cook for her family and loved to make sure everyone was fed and happy. She would often say “Always always to the moon and back”.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Grace Terry and Fred Lackner.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Claude Lanphear; her children, Jammie L. Baker and Christopher Lackner; grandchildren, Claudia Smith, Tristen Baker, Lucian Baker, Garrett Lackner and Austin Lackner; and many great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 1:30pm at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
