Lisa Ann Hannon

Lisa Hannon, 58, of Newport, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. Lisa had a heart of gold. Her love language was to help others; she didn’t know a stranger. She was passionate about serving her community in any way she could and raising her dogs.  

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Mary “Linda” and Curtis Atkins; her sister, Glenda Atkins; and her brother, Lester Atkins.

She was survived by her children, Charla Atkins and husband, Chelsea (Shan) Bryant, and Allyson Green; sisters, Arlene (Chan) Ball and Linda (Russell) Borders; Fiancé, Mike Paulson; ex-spouse and friend, Wayne Hannon; her dogs, Piper and Martin. She was loved by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also holds a special place for the countless bonus children she has had throughout the years. Those near and dear to her also include her special friends, Lisa Simpson, Tandra Cutshall, Ann Turner and the late Pamela “Pam” Prather along with all of her church families.
