Mabel Doris Phillips

Mabel Doris McGaha Phillips, age 90, beloved mother and Nanny, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by family. She is a member of Northport Baptist Church in Newport, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Glenn Arnold (Pepsi) Phillips, her parents, Rufus and Dola McGaha, her siblings, Delmar Lovingood, Ralph, Ras, Doug McGaha, Lucy Hall, and Blanche Ogle. She is survived by daughters Judy Park (W.T.), Brenda Trotter (Scott), son Glenn Phillips (Janet), grandchildren Myrinda Zerrlaut (David) and Brandon Park and great grandchildren, Gabriel Zerrlaut, Austin, Ava, and Ainsley Park. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th, 2025 at 11am at Waters Cemetery in Cosby, TN. Officiating the service will be Pastor John Lowe Sr. of Tuckalechee Chapel Missonary Baptist Church, Mabel’s second church home.

Funeral arrangements are provided by Resthaven Funeral Home | Cemetery | Cremations 2642 US Hwy 25/70 Dandridge, TN. Family requests comfortable shoes and attire due to heat and location. Anyone from out of town can meet at Resthaven Funeral Home at 10am to follow family to the cemetery.
