Margaret E Kempkers

Margaret E. Kempkers, (79) of Newport, Tn. passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024.  Margaret, born on December 12, 1944 in Michigan to a family of twelve children. Margaret lived in Idaho for many years and considers Idaho “home.”  She made a living as a seamstress and enjoyed punch needling.  She liked to do gardening and loved to spend time at the casino.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Annie, and Charley Pendergrass; sisters, Jeanette, and Brenda Pendergrass; brother, Harold Pendergrass; brother-in-law, Gary Matrau and grandchildren, Brandon Hall, and Jordyn Kempkers. Margaret is survived by her sons, Thomas (Helen) Kempkers, Ronald (Kryci) Kempkers; sisters, Janice Pendergrass, Cheryl Pendergrass, and Roxann Matrau; brothers, Danny (MaryLou)Pendergrass, Gary (Peggy)Pendergrass, Art Pendergrass, Charlie Pendergrass, and Carl Pendergrass; grandchildren, Nicholas Kempkers of Idaho Falls, Mikala Kempkers, Brieann Kempkers and Ashley Duncan of Newport., and Crystin Hall of Bloomingdale, MI., several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  The family will like to give Amedisys of Morristown a special Thank you for the excellent care of Margaret in her final days.  As per Margaret’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
