Markisha Caroline Allen

Markisha Caroline Allen age 24, departed this life on Monday, August 10, 2020 in Knoxville, TN.  Markisha was born in Greeneville, TN and grew up in Newport. She resided in Knoxville for the last five years. 
    Markisha was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Carl Jr. Haney, her paternal great grandmother Edith Richardson, and a paternal Aunt Marilyn Gudger. 
    Survivors left to mourn her passing include her daughter Kylee age 5, son KJ age 2,  mother Betty Jo Haney Hembree and step-father, Chuck Hembree of Newport; father, Pedro Gudger also of Newport. Special aunnie & pappy, William and (Mimi) Tammy Talley of Morristown,  brothers, Barren Pruitt, Isaac Gudger, Dagan Peak, Parish Senter, Jordan Allen, Kylar Gudger, Elijah Gudger,  of Newport, Bricyn Gudger, of Morristown, & Tawann Gudger of Toledo, Ohio; sisters, Twins: Taylor and Jalissa Gudger, Kimberly Gudger, Kara Gudger, Porsha Brewer, Macy Gudger, and Charelle Parker, all of Newport, maternal grandmother, Velma Wills, step-grandfather Mark Wills, paternal grandmother, Betty Gudger, paternal grandmother, Carolyn Davis, all of Newport. She also leaves behind to mourn; a multitude of extended family and friends she loved so dearly. 
    Markisha will be remembered for her love of her family, especially her children and her volunteer work with young people, including coaching cheerleading with Knoxville Falcons Youth Association. Professionally, she was a dental assistant. 
    The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 15, from 1:00-3:00 pm at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The funeral will begin at 3:00 with Rev. Joseph Senter officiating. Graveside services will follow. Pall bearers include: Pedro Gudger,  Parish Senter, Jordan Allen, John Gudger, Mark Allen, Tasean Simpson, Dustin Gudger, and Dwight Gudger. 
Honorable Pall bearers will be Isaac Gudger and Marcus Allen.
