Marla Renee Torgerson

Marla Renee Torgerson, a lifelong resident of Newport, Tennessee, passed away on October 31, 2025.

Marla is survived by her father, Fred Gregg; her sister, Cynthia Holdway (Doug); her daughter, Terri Robinson (Tony); her significant other, Mike Keller; her grandchild, Caitlin Robinson; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Breeden, her grandchild, Tobias Robinson, and her maternal grandparents, and paternal grandmother.

Marla loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her friends. She will be remembered for the warmth, love, and joy she brought to those around her.

In lieu of a memorial service, the family asks that everyone take the time to mourn in their own way and remember the happy times shared with Marla. The family extends a special thanks to Newport Medical Center and The Convalescent Center for their care and support.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.
