Marlene Minnie Maples

Marlene Minnie Maples, age 63, of White Pine, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026. Preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Dawn Maples; father, Lonnie Roach; sister, Maureen Roach: grandparents, John Ray and Nora Dunn, Richard and Minnie Roach; brother, Leslie Roach; special niece, Patricia Helton.  Survived by mother, Lois Roach; brother, Larry Roach; sister, Madelene (Mickey) Helton; nephew, Ricky (Jenna) Helton; great nephew, Levi Helton; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and former husband Blaine Maples. The family would like to give a special “thank you” to her nurse Tina, and all the employees at Gentiva Hospice for their loving care of Marlene. Family will receive friends Tuesday, April 28, 2026 from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Chapel, with a service to follow at 2:00pm, Pastor Brandon Cate officiating. Family and friends will then meet at Carter Cemetery in Morristown for burial following the service.
